Description:

Its has two set of spines on the front and at the back of thorax. A quite big black ant with lightly brown pigmented wings. The winged individuals are known as alates and play a crucial role in mating and dispersal. There are both winged males and winged females.

Habitat:

In the garden of a cold spring resort. The garden is at the edge of a tropical rain forest.
