Description:

Leptotes plinius (Fabricius, 1793), family Lycaenidae. Commonly known as Zebra Blue or Plumbago Blue. This is a female of subspecies Leptotes plinius leopardus Schultze, 1910. Listed Philippine distribution: Leyte, Luzon, Mindanao (Surigao, South Cotabato). Recorded hostplants: Plumbago auriculata and P.zeylanica (White plumbago/Sangdikit) (Plumbaginaceae).

Habitat:

Backyard adjacent to an open space.
