I spotted this butterfly while walking through the jungle (Periyar Tiger Reserve, Thekkady, Kerala). The Tamil Yeoman (Cirrochroa thais) is a species of nymphalid butterfly found in forested areas of tropical South Asia and Southeast Asia.
