Description:

This common european yellow-green finch is roughly the size and build of House sparrow. The adult male (portrayed) have some grey in collar, cheeks, wings and breast; and some black in wings. The bill is conical and stout.

Habitat:

Seen in a small coniferous grove in Geneva Botanical Garden, shores of Geneva lake.
