Lemon Lime Thyme

Thymus sp.

Description:

Small creeping thyme that has a lemon lime flavor. Great light flavor for meals in the Texas heat.

Habitat:

Wildlife habitat garden with many native plants. Salad, and vegetables are grown in garden boxes on saw horse legs.

Notes:

This thyme does very well in the texas heat. I let it go to seed, cut it back and replant it in pots throughout the yard.

Thanks. It has a nice flavor too and as a bonus the blooms help a lot of small pollinators.
