Equus ferus caballus
They have very tough legs and sound, very hard hooves which are perfect to deal with the rugged terrain of stony mountains in Lesotho. They are usually surefooted, fast, fearless and are known for their stamina. They can be up to 14.2 hands high (56.8 inches or ~142cm), but rarely taller.
