Makes sense! We've had enormous cankerworm outbreaks in the early spring in recent years, but I'd never seen the adults in action. Thanks!

Wonderful! Yes, a wingless moth. Operophtera bruceata females are also similar.

It's laid about 100 eggs so far. About a third of an inch long. A wingless moth?
