Ropalidia fasciata
Class: Insecta | Order: Hymenoptera | Family: Vespidae | Genus: Ropalidia |
One more spotting very close resemblance with this species : https://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/13...
Vespidae, Polistinae, Ropalidia sp., I was thinking of Ropalidia mathematica and Ropalidia fasciata and would now, however only after a very short check, tend to Ropalidia fasciata. Please, verify!! The differences are only mince. Range should be OK for both, but check this as well.

Hi Nuwan. I think these are Paper wasps (Vespidae), not Potter wasps (Sphecidae). The body shape is more slender in Poter wasps, and this nest is made with celulose.
This looks more like a Paper Wasp. The nest is really peculiar being linear instead of rounded and cap-shaped. Very neat spotting!
