Ricania taeniata
Ricania taeniata Stål, 1870, family Ricaniidae. Ricaniidae is one of the larger families of the Fulgoroidea, comprising more than 450 described species in approximately 46 genera. Members of the group are distributed widely in the Afrotropical, Australian, Indo-Malayan and Oceania regions, and primarily around the tropics. Most of the species are of little economic importance but a few are major agricultural pests, such as the Ricania speculum.
