Stephanopis cambridgei
A mottled spider found under bark. The head and palps looks like a crab.
On the floodplain of a large river. On a river red-gum.
Mark. This spider had not been touched and had not moved. I presumed the hind legs to be both tucked underneath the body and chose to photograph this natural pose.
Thank you AtulThat looks like a perfect fit. http://www.arachne.org.au/01_cms/details...
Lokks like Tmarus sp. or similar. I have a couple of similar ones, take a gander:http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/925...http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/931...http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/424...
Those rear legs look strangely short.
