Dalmatian Pelican

Description:

Mostly white plumage. The "bag"under the bill is yellow. Pink circular featherless area around eyes.

Habitat:

We had stopped for a cup of tea and I just wandered off a little when I came across a small water body full of aquatic birds of all kinds...peacefully foraging. I could not approach very close as the land sloped down and was an open toilet area from the smell...so maxed the zoom.

Notes:

Have cropped other birds out of the picture. This is the second pelican species I have spotted in India, in the wild.
