Bald Eagle - adult

Haliaeetus leucocephalus

Full adult plumage, white head and tail, black/brown body and wings, bright yellow orange feet and beak, yellow eyes. Fiercely unafraid of me.

This one found on Neaves Rd in the Pitt Polder, Pitt Meadows, BC, sitting beside a salmon river. They are common in this part of BC with huge nests which can be seen from a great distance at the time of the year with no leaves on the trees.
