Pitt Polder and Lake, including the Katzie Nature Trail. Marsh, lake, slough, diked wetlands. Now being taken over by blueberry and cranberry fields. Large heronry in this area so far undisturbed by all the farm equipment and the twinning of the hydro lines through that area.
Have included more than one individual in this spotting as there are so many herons in this area....wanted to show the amazing abundance of herons here.
