Description:

I've seen this plant many times on vacation before, but I don't think I've ever seen it bloom before now. Any Floridians who can identify this plant?

S Frazier, that's probably it. This plant was landscaped and not found in the wetland area where I saw some of the birds I posted recently.

It doesn't look like the Florida spider lily Hymenocallis floridana because the petals are not connected in the center. It does resemble the flower of a Crinum sp. spider lily which is planted as an ornamental in Florida...
