Spotted Dove

Streptopelia chinensis

Description:

much browner than the chinensis race I have seen in Hawaii and Australia, this Spotted Dove almost made me think I had another lifer! possibly immature of the chinensis or another race? The neck markings are hard to see here, but they were like the Spotted Dove.

Habitat:

Broad-leaved evergreen forest of the eastern hills of Cambodia, Sen Menorom, Mondulkiri, Cambodia. Near the Nature Lodge clearing.
