Western Kingbird (babies)

Tyrannus verticalis

Description:

This tall pine is damaged at the top and has cavities for nests. It is also the parking place for newly fledged birds. Today it is full of Western Kingbird babies. Not sure which family. There are two nest sites in pine trees further down the street.

Notes:

There is a House Sparrow lower down and two Baltimore Orioles were just on other branches. This tree is a major stopping place.
