Rounded Palm-Redeye

Erionota torus

Description:

This is a Rounded Palm-Redeye that i found on the door of my house. It is brown in color, and has a red eyes. The wingspan of this skipper is about 65–70 mm.

Erionota torus is similar in appearance with Erionota thrax. But, the forwing termen of Erionota thrax is straight, while the forwing termen of Erionota torus is convex.

The third picture is taken with the flash on.

Habitat:
