Description:

Delicate looking plant with thin stems and narrow leaves. Small, light purple flowers produced along the stem. Buds appear white. This wildflower is native to the eastern and southwest regions of North America

Habitat:

Area borderline between open, grassy camping area and temperate forest. Nolin Lake State Park, Kentucky.
