Giant Panda

Ailuropoda melanoleuca

Description:

I saw this giant panda at the zoo in Washington D.C.

Habitat:

Smithsonian National Zoological Park

Notes:

The pandas seemed to be very well taken care of. Their habitat was large with plenty of trees and lots of bamboo. This panda had other panda friends in the enclosure with him, however they were asleep at the time of this photo and did not wish to be disturbed.
