Northern Cardinal

Cardinalis cardinalis

Description:

A juvenile male transitioning to his bright red adult feathers. His beak is still gray at the tip, but the rest of it has become orange. He will be stunning when he's a full adult, but right now he's in his awkward adolescent phase ;)

Habitat:

My yard. Munching millet, sunflower seed, and suet cake at the feeder.
