Predatory Shield Bug

Description:

A scary looking mask on a small shield bug is probably justified as these are also called 'Predatory Shield Bugs'. They often grab prey much larger than themselves for a quick snack.
Call her Fangs. About 20mm long

Habitat:

On acacia stems in a local nature reserve. Glenfern Valley.

Notes:

Found in most parts of Australia including Tasmania but mostly in southern areas.
