Hi Marta, your mission was not approved to cover the area in the title as other missions already exist for those areas. The limited selection of missions to 5 per spotting means that if missions overlap users cannot select all available missions and therefore the missions cannot show all available spottings, meaning they are all incomplete. In this case there are already missions covering North America and South America so yours has to be restricted to Central America at the most. We are still hoping to revise the mission guidelines geographically and by content. If and when that happens, one mission may be selected to be Global while all the others for the same species would have to be non-overlapping parts of it. The original idea of local missions was just that, they should be localised to the users local area. Featured and Global missions are reserved for use by organisations in most cases, as only they have the resources to run such large missions. As a prime example this spotting is missing from the Birds of California mission and perhaps others because you have run out of selections so these missions are incomplete without your spottings.

Thanks Marta.
Ok, I will edit it.
