Pontia protodice
Overall white with brownish markings on top and underside of wings as shown on attached photos. Wingspan 1.25 to 2". It has been spotted from mid-Spring through the summer months into Fall.
This species has been spotted in the Mojave and Sonoran deserts, and more prolifically in and around urban lawns in desert areas. It seems to be adaptable to various habitats.
