thanks bauycca, maybe it is this one as Wiki says starts it's flight in June instead of July, and I saw it in June, though it doesn't mention Spain in Wikipedia. What do you think Martini?
Do you think the one with open wings I spotted is the same butterfly?

I think it is the other one, Melanargia lachesis and it is a Nymphalidae, not a Pieridae.

thanks Martini for the ID. The site says these butterflies emerge in July, but this was seen in Spain in the beginning of June. Another sign of climate change?
