Common medium-sized raptor, compact-looking, short-necked, broad-winged and short-tailed bird of prey. It is a bit over 50cm in length and over 100cm in wingspan, and very common in Jura mountains and Geneva lake valley.
Tops of Jura mountains are really a breathtaking experience, with such amazing nature sights every time... Here, seen gliding above montane pastures and forests.
