Cuban Brown Anole

Anolis sagrei

Description:

Around 4:30 p.m. in the afternoon, I looked out onto the outdoor patio, from the sliding glass door. I saw one reptile, resting on a ledge, that was right next to one of the outdoor patio screens. The color of this reptile, was different shades of brown. I did not take many different photos, of this reptile, because the sun was shining on my face. As I looked very closely at my six photos, my eyes was drawn, to the eyes of this reptile. I found a clue, that might help someone, find the Genus and Species, of this reptile. Look very closely, at the eyes of this reptile,in photos no. 3, 4, 5, and 6: Radiating outwards, from around its eyes, you will see, thick, dark brown lines and shapes, radiating outwards, from its eyes. One two or three, thick, dark, brown lines is radiating upwards, from its eyes. You will see, one, thick, dark, brown line, radiating to the left, and continuing down the side of its body, as some small, dark brown shapes, until these small shapes disappear. Also, a couple of small, dark, brown shapes, are on the side of this reptiles face. These are small, dark, brown shapes, below the eyes, and then going forward, along the side of its mouth, until it reaches the pointed end of its head. Maybe, in total, around 13, large, dark, brown, lines and some smaller, dark, brown, shapes. This is the clue, that might help someone, find the genus and species, of this reptile..Dark, brown, lines and shapes, that are radiating outwards, from around its eyes..

Habitat:

I found this reptile, resting on a ledge, that was right next , to one of the outdoor patio screens.

Notes:

I found this reptile, resting on a ledge, that was right next, to one of the outdoor patio screens, at around 4:30 p.m. in the afternoon. This reptile was very calm, as it allowed me to take some photos of it, without moving..
