unusual coloration is currently being investigated!

Habitat:

CSU Chico campus.

Notes:

A group of at least five individuals have this color abnormality in the same locale. Many others have also been collected from all over the state since 1946 and are housed in the college Vertebrate Museum.

I also spotted a western gray squirrel in Chico that has a reddish-brown coloring on most of its body. I posted a "spotting" in the mission you started for these unique squirrel. I hope you enjoy it.
