Crown-tipped coral, Clavicorona pyxidata

Description:

Looks like coral, tips are pronged and look like a king or queen's crown.

Habitat:

On a dead log in Prospect Park. A whole bunch of these. Big pile of human poop 10 feet away so I took this picture quickly. Ahhhhhh, NYC.

Notes:

Surreal looking. Looks like coral for sure.
