Description:

This is big white bird and has a black head and beak as a the name suggests. The beak is somewhat curved and it probes the shallow mud for its food, sometimes inserting the entire beak into the mud.

Habitat:

Found in marshy mudflats. Feeds on fish, frogs and other water creatures.
