I saw it first on an island across the river...so I ran down the dirt path, waded through the water and THE THING FLIES AWAY THEN HIDES HERE!!!! In order to get the closer shot I had to be waist deep in the lake. If my camera were waterproof and I'd not had my backpack on... I would have swam over to it. Curse you bird!
