Description:

A shelf fungus that grows on dead conifer wood. Top surface has concentric rings of yellow, orange, brown, purple and black. Bottom surface has rust colored gills (pic 2).

Habitat:

Spotted on a rotting Pine tree stump at Tarkiln Bayou Preserve State Park.
