Description:

Male pics in breeding plumage. Eastern Washington is in the breeding range for the Western bluebird. Males have a bright blue head and back, bold rufous coloring on their breast and between their shoulders.

Habitat:

Spotted in the Wenas Wilderness of eastern Washington.
