Spotting

Description:

A gigantic kind of dandelion, just about -- if not, greater than -- the size of a tennis ball. Oddly enough, this was the only one I spotted on the hike, and that makes it all the more spectacular.

Habitat:

Found a little bit after Armour Spring in the Madera Canyon area, at above 8,000 feet altitude. Might or might not be the same species as the plant to its left, as the leaves on the dandelion's plant are long, thin, and fold downward while the other plant has more distinct and defined leaves.

Notes:

Does a bigger dandelion equal a bigger wish?
