Clavulinopsis sp.
orange-yellow fruiting bodies, up 3 to 6 cm high, about 1 cm wide, cylindrical and unbranched.
Presumably saprobic; growing in dense clusters with fused bases, or occasionally gregariously; in woods under hardwoods or conifers, sometimes in grass; summer and fall.
Though more consistent with the description of Clavulinopsis fusiformis than Clavulinopsis laeticolor, I am still having doubts which species this is. Spotted in Pacific Rim National Park Reserve, Vancouver island, Canada. (sources: see reference)

@António and PN Thank you very much! I'm honored.
@Tukup Thank you! :)
Congratulations on the nomination Jae. Beautiful series.
“Your spotting has been nominated for the Spotting of the Week. The winner will be chosen by the Project Noah Rangers based on a combination of factors including: uniqueness of the shot, status of the organism (for example, rare or endangered), quality of the information provided in the habitat and description sections. There is a subjective element, of course; the spotting with the highest number of Ranger votes is chosen. Congratulations on being nominated!”
@Tukup Happy new year! Thanks. They sure are stunning, all that is missing are the colorful tropical fish :)
@Neil Happy new year and thank you for the kind comment!
Beautiful specimens. Cool spotting, Jae.
Corals are probably my favorite mushrooms. Earth stars would be right up there too. Great shot Jae. Thanks.
