Phalium bandatum
Also known as Banded Helmet, this animal's shell grows to a length of 4 to 14cm.
This species of marine gastropod molluks occurs along the coasts of Japan, the Philippines and Northern Australia, at depths of 8 to 50m.
This sea snail attracted my attention right away because of its shell's attractive thatched pattern. And it was quite huge, too -- about 5 or 6cm long, if I remember right. Too bad, though, I lost my camera's flash that time, so only one of the photos (the 3rd one) shows correct colors.

Aww shucks, Leuba. :")
Blogie, even a fairly common-looking shell has to have something special because YOU found it - great pattern and nice spotting. Thanks
@Jeannette - I guess you could say that. :)
@Harsha Singh - Thanks for the favorite!
Very fashionable ;-)
Thanks, shameerzaman1999 and DanielePralong! I hope I get to see this amazing critter again soon so I can take better pictures of it. :)
Beautiful colors and patterns
