Description:

This beautiful but battered moth had a wingspan of 4.5 cm (1.8 inches). Anyone know what it was doing with its tongue in the 2nd photo?

Habitat:

Hills overlooking Manila.

It was probably just exercising its tongue, I don't think it is any behavior thing.
