Zingiber Spectabile
About 20 cm in length. Felt very smooth, and a bit sticky. Appeared to have had some liquid in the cups on the plant. It was a pale yellow from the top, but was a darker yellow/ orange when looking at the plant from the side.
Secondary rainforest, Singapore American School.
I found only one of this plant growing close to the ground.
