Notes:

It's a little common here where I live. I find this interesting because it does not look like a regular spider, it's more like a mix of spider with another insect. Another characteristic is that it smell really bad when it is smashed. Anyone knows its specie? I'd like to know.

Harvestman, Opiliones fits your description of looks sort of like a spider. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Opiliones
They are an arachnid, but the cephalothorax and abdomen are joined by a thick connection making it look like one thing.
There are tropical ones and they do have scent glands.
