Description:

Also known as grey kangaroo or forester kangaroo. A marsupial carrying the young joey in a pouch. Females are soft shades of grey fur, lighter belly, ears rimmed darker, strong hind legs and tail, shorter front legs or forearms, grass and foliage eater.

Habitat:

Found throughout eastern Australia, sharing space with many other macropod species. This one in high mountain country.
