Description:

About 1.6 inches long, white or grayish on front of thorax and first half of abdomen. Markings on the front of the thorax form a pair of broad, white "corporal" stripes. They eat mosquitoes and deer flies.

Habitat:

Spotted at Tamarac near Pine Lake on Hwy 29. habitat: boggy ponds, lake & forested streams.
