these photos are about life cycle of Red Pierrot which i observed in my garden. first is egg laying. the plant is peculiar with thick succulent leaves. second is an empty egg. third is the caterpillar which remain in the flesh of the leaves eating it from within and well protected from predators. fourth is the cocoon left behind by the emerging butterfly.
