Mantidae
I saw this familiar creature doing an queer act. It is blowing some kind of balloon from its tail. Perhaps it is laying eggs in a protected enclosure build by its own secretions.
Greenary and trees. Found in majority parts of India.

This is actually quite a big praying mantis with its cocoon. Looks as it might be the Giant Indian Praying Mantis, Hierodula grandis. But this has to be confirmed by some Indian folks!
