A brown colored baby bird. A robin perhaps?
This little chick appears to have fallen out of its nest. It wouldn't move an inch.

How sure are you about that? I looked up what they look like, but obviously they look quite different as chicks.
Looks like a Brown-headed Cowbird (Molothrus ater).
