Western Gull

Larus occidentalis

Description:

Large adult Western Gull with dark grey back and wings. Yellow eyes and pink legs. Black wing tips. Bill is long and yellow with red spot on bottom mandible

Habitat:

Ocean and bays. This one along with Ring-billed were hanging out in a marina parking lot.

I know what you mean. I try to take it one gull at a time. I have no problems with Ring-billed, Glaucous - wing, Heerman's or Bonaparte's. It's the rest and the juveniles kill me.
