Description:

Stocky moth with bold black and white coloration on thorax and forwings. Hind wings are black white and pinkish-orange. Abdomen appears to be black, white and yellowish. There are two to three species that have similar coloration and patterning and usually need dissection for absolute identification on a species level.

Habitat:

Suburban building bordering a small field area. Attracted to lights at night.
