Description:

The species is distinguished in that the female is bright green and the adult male has a blue abdomen with a green face and green and blue thorax.

Habitat:

Primarily ponds. Adults often perch on the ground, and are quite unwary.

Notes:

Ponds are not far from the spotting, but mosquitoes are everywhere.
