Daytime moth and common pollinator that feeds in the fashion of a Hummingbird seen feeding on Monarda 'Raspberry Wine'

Habitat:

Open and second-growth habitats, gardens, and suburbs - common where ever it can find a nectar source, Prefers plants used in gardens - Phlox, Butterflybush, and Monarda

Notes:

Seen feeding on Monarda 'Raspberry Wine' at South end of Holden Wildflower Garden, The Holden Arboretum, Lake County, Kirtland, OH

I saw one of these for the first time last year. It was on my hanging petunia plant here in Steep Falls, ME. Neat!
