Manorina melanocephala
Noisy Miner (26cm) Perhaps the best known from honeyeater family as the name suggests, very noisy when in groups. Crown and face black, rest of head and underparts grey. Yellow bill and skin behind the eyes.
Foraging in the canopy of trees and on trunks and branches and on the ground, the Noisy Miner mainly eats nectar, fruit and insects. Most time is spent gleaning the foliage of eucalypts, and it can meet most of its nutritional needs from manna, honeydew and lerp gathered from the foliage.
Sits in the nearest coffee shop, suck'n down some sugar. Check his eye man! :) Adapting to City Life
