Description:

This pretty butterfly is a master of camouflage. When closed, it looks absolutely like a dried leaf. When open, it is a flash of incredible blue!

Habitat:

Lower elevations of forests in the Western Ghats in the monsoons. These seen at Mumbai's city forest, the Sanjay Gandhi National Park.

This is precious spotting for Project Noah... Very few knows about this cute and rarely identified butterfly.

I saw once Orange Oak leaf on Tulasi Lake trail... 12 years ago. I am very less visitor at SGNP.

I think you must make a Mission on Mumbai's Biodiversity but excluding SGNP and Thane, Navi Mumbai city area. I have many spottings from Mumbai.
