Description:

Plant with highly hirsute (hairy), green leaves. Plants within the Hieracium genus are within the Helianthus (sunflower) family and are closely related to the dandelion. Most hawkweeds are asexual and reproduce via agamospermy, a form of reproduction in which genetically identical seeds are produced from unfertilized ovules. As a result, plants are clones.

Habitat:

Growing on moss on the floor of a dense hardwood/pine forest.
